Firefighter Survival

As a way to improve Fire Ground Safety Carbondale Firefighters hosted a Firefighter Survival Class that was put on by the Bucks County Community College and the PA State Fire Academy in October of 2006. Firefighters were shown and given the opportunity to practice many different self-survival tactics including search techniques, a low window roll-out, 2nd floor window drop, bail-out onto a ladder, and a bail-out using a rope.
